Crispy Oven Baked Chicken Wings/Party Wings

The best way to make chicken wings is in the oven. This is definitely a healthier choice than deep frying in grease. The best part about this easy recipe is that you can still achieve that crispy look right in the oven. These wings are so quick and easy to make. You might add it to your weekly dinner or lunch menu every week. Just let the prepping and oven do the rest of the work for you. For this recipe, it takes about 1 hour to have crispy wings at your dinner table. You can eat the wings plain and just enjoy the seasonings baked in. Plain baked crispy party wings

Ingredients

  • 1 lb-Pack or frozen bag of party chicken wings ( Mixed with drums and flats) add more if needed this pack usually has 10 wings

  • 1-2 tablespoon-Baking powder or cornstarch

  • Cooking oil spray/non stick or regular cooking oil

  • Garlic powder, paprika,black pepper, goya chicken seasoning, goya all purpose, onion powder:at least 1 tbsp of each

Directions

  • First clean and rinse chicken. The trick to these wings is to dry your wings after cleaning. Pat dry with a paper towel.
  • Next, preheat oven to 400 Degrees
  • Place your chicken in a bowl or your choice of where you like to season. First sprinkle baking powder over chicken, then mix to make sure all chicken is lightly coated. Now start seasoning your chicken.
  • Place chicken on baking sheet or rack. I use a baking sheet, cover it with aluminum foil, sprayed with oil.
  • Let bake for 30-35 minutes skin up then flip over and let bake for another 30 minutes. If you want extra crispy , just let it keep baking for 10 or 15 more minutes. When done Let cool or toss in your favorite sauce.
