How to make it

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Start by dicing your potatoes into bite-sized cubes, chop your onion, and mince the garlic. If you’re using a bell pepper, chop that as well.
  2. Cook the Potatoes: Heat about 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet or pan over medium heat. Add the diced potatoes( I add a little goya adobo all-purpose) and cook them until they start to soften and get a little golden on the outside (about 8-10 minutes). Stir occasionally to avoid burning. Once done, remove them from the pan and set them aside.
  3. Brown the Ground Beef: In the same skillet, add a bit more olive oil if necessary and cook the ground beef. Add Seasonings. Break it up as it cooks until browned and no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Add the Veggies: To the beef, add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables start to soften.
  5. Combine: Return the cooked potatoes to the pan with the beef and veggie mixture. Add the beef bouillon or broth and give everything a good stir. Cover the skillet and let everything simmer for about 10-15 minutes, until the potatoes are fully cooked through and tender.
  6. Serve hot, and garnish with fresh parsley or cheese (if desired) for an extra touch!
