What you will need
- Heavy cream or whipping cream( 2-3 cups should do it)
- Butter (half of the stick)
- Fresh Garlic(1-2 cloves chopped)
- Cream cheese(1/2 cup cut in about 4 pieces)
- Grated Parmesan (I add shaved parmesan, Romano asiago cheese too)
- Black pepper ( salt to taste if you want)
- Parsley
- Garlic powder
- Italian seasoning
How to make Homemade Alfredo Sauce
- First, Turn stove on medium, add your butter, garlic, and cream cheese to pan. Whisk or stir until butter and cream cheese is melted.
- Next, pour your heavy cream in slowly, whisking until its starts to simmer.
- Now add your cheeses in, still stirring slowly over low medium heat for 3-5 minutes. Your sauce should be starting to thicken.
- Add, black pepper, garlic powder, parsley, Italian seasoning. Turn down low, let it continue to simmer for about 5 minutes then serve.
TIP: While your sauce is low simmering, start adding cooked broccoli and chicken. Broccoli chicken alfredo is so yummy!
