This easy side dish will compliment your dinner just right. Oven Baked corn is so crispy but soft; if you like fried corn this recipe is definitely for you! Seasonings used:
garlic powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper, onion powder, Parsely,chicken seasoning (1-2 tablespoon of each)
Ingredients
1 Pack of frozen or fresh corn on the cob(at least 4-5)
1/2 cup of Olive oil or at least a 1/2-1 whole stick of butter butter
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Take out corn, rinse and lay on parchment paper, or bowl , anywhere you feel comfortable seasoning the corn.
- Before you start seasoning, cut the whole corn in half or you can find already cut corn on the cob frozen.
- Start seasoning corn, make sure seasoned all around, then drizzle olive or melted butter on top. ( Add more olive oil or butter to bottom of baking dish as well)
- Put corn in baking dish then cover with aluminum foil or baking lid. Put in oven for 20 minutes.(For fresh corn I suggest leaving in a extra 10-15 minutes for first bake). Then, let bake for another 15-20 minutes uncovered for that soft but crispy texture.
