Buttermilk Fried Chicken Tenders

These popular chicken tenders are so easy to make. This is recipe is a favorite in my house. My son absolutely loves homemade fried chicken tenders. Making chicken tenders at home is always a plus in my book for the kids, and of course us Adults too! These tenders come out super fresh! Honestly, it just taste much better coming from your own kitchen. This recipe is very simple, and the tenders come out so flavorful and crispy! Let’s get right into the recipe.

Chicken Tenders

Ingredients

  • 1 Pack of sliced chicken tenderloins (usually 8 tenders a pack) or slice your own using boneless chicken breast.

  • 2-3 cups-Buttermilk

  • Vegetable oil or your favorite frying oil

  • At leaast 1-2 cups of Flour

Directions

  • First, rinse/clean chicken and pat dry with paper towel.
  • Next, season the chicken, place chicken in a bowl or large zip lock. Cover chicken with Buttermilk. Let marinate in Buttermilk overnight if you want or let sit for about 10-15 minutes before frying.
  • Add oil to pot or frying pan, medium high heat.
  • Now, coat chicken tenders in flour. This is optional but you can season flour before coating. Just use the same Seasoning used on chicken .
  • When oil is hot start adding tenders one by one to the pan, you may need to do a few batches depending on how many you are making.
  • Fry for at least 7- 10 minutes making sure golden brown all around. Place on parchment paper over a tray or on paper towel to drain extra grease.
