Easy Fried Chicken Cutlet Recipe

Chicken cutlets are so good and versatile! These thin sliced chicken breasts can be used for many different dishes. Also, they are so convenient, it doesn’t take long at all to cook them. Chicken cutlets can be fried, or seared. These chicken breast remind me of a big chicken nugget when finished. However you look at these yummy cutlets, this recipe is for sure one to pull out when you want a quick meal. Throw a cutlet over some cheesy pasta or serve with a two sides. Chicken Cutlet frying

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of thin sliced boneless chicken breast or take a regular chicken breast, split in half and flatten

  • 1 cup of Italian Bread crumbs

  • 1 Egg-to make egg wash

  • 1 tsp-Water or Milk- to add to egg wash

  • Vegetable Oil

  • Butter(optional)

Bread crumb & Egg wash

Directions

  • First,clean/rinse+ pat dry and season chicken.
  • Next, get your egg wash and bread crumbs prepped. In bowl beat one egg and add milk or water. In another bowl or on parchment paper add bread crumbs.
  • Now, take seasoned chicken dip in egg wash (making sure whole chicken is covered) then roll chicken in bread crumbs.
  • Place a frying pan on stove, add cooking oil(enough to cover bottom of frying pan) turn stove on medium high heat. When cooking oil is hot start adding breaded cutlets, usually two at a time unless you have a big frying pan.
  • Let fry on both sides for at least 6-7 minutes or until crispy. Take out and let cool and oil drip off.
