  • 2lb of Velveeta block cheese ( I used two 1lb_16 0z)

  • two small cans of chunky or regular rotel tomatoes

  • 1 red onion

  • 1lb of mild ground Italian sausage

  • 8oz block of cream cheese

All ingredients for sausage rotel dip added to crockpot

Directions

  • First, start cooking your ground sausage, cook until brown/done. Season sausage while cooking for best flavor!
  • Also turn your crockpot on medium high while your sausage is cooking. Get your onion chopped as well.
  • Cut Velveeta cheese into small/ medium cubes.
  • Take your Velveeta cheese, diced onion, cream cheese, tomatoes and add it to your crockpot.
  • Add your ground sausage to crockpot.
  • The sausage will start melting your cheese and cream cheese, I suggest stirring everything when it starts to cook.
  • Let the dip cook on medium high heat for about 1 hour.
