So creamy, and savory with italian flavors loaded with cheese. Chicken spaghetti can be made in one pot or it can be baked in a nice casserole. I love casseroles, so that is definitely my go to for this dish. This recipe has simple ingredients and won’t hurt your pockets. garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, goya all purpose meat seasoning

Ingredients

  • Boneless chicken breast ( at least two breast/ cut in half) or you can shred rotisserie chicken

  • 1 box of Thin spaghetti pasta

  • 1 -2 small cans of diced tomatoes and chilies

  • 1 yellow or white onion

  • Cream cheese (at least 3oz)

  • 1 cup of Cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup of Mozzarella cheese

  • 1tbsp of Flour or cornstarch

  • 1 cup of Milk

  • 1/2 cup of Chicken Broth

Oven Baked Chicken Spaghetti

Directions

  • First, start cooking your chicken breast. Add 2-3 tbsp of oil to your pan. While your chicken is cooking get your onion chopped and diced.
  • Get your pasta boiling in a pot, drain, set to the side.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • Next, remove your chicken from pan, cut into pieces or cubes, set to the side. In the same pan you cooked your chicken, add onion and saute for about 1-2 minutes(add cooking oil if needed).
  • Now, begin to make your cheese/cream sauce. While your onions begin to soften, start sprinkling flour, stir until flour is dissolved ( this helps thicken the sauce. Then slowly start adding broth,then cream cheese. When your cream cheese melts slowly add milk and cheddar cheese. Stir sauce slowly as needed!
  • When your sauce starts to cook and thicken some, add drained can of diced tomatoes.
  • Next, add your cooked pasta, if your transferring to baking pan or baking your spaghetti, you should turn your stove off when you begin to mix your spaghetti in.
  • When mixed together, top your spaghetti with mozzarella cheese, and put in oven for at least 35-45 minutes covered, bake uncovered for the last 7-10 minutes. Cheese should be nice and melted when done.
