  • 6 Slider buns (dinner rolls work fine) and packs usually come with 6-12 buns

  • 6 slices American or Cheddar sliced cheese

  • 1 tablespoon-ketchup

  • 1 tablespoon – mustard

  • 1 Yellow onion

  • 1/2 stick of Melted Butter or few tbsp of olive oil

  • Sesame Seeds for Buns (optional)

Directions

  • First, cook your ground beef in your pan/skillet. Chop up Yellow onion add to pan and season meat with Seasonings listed above (or your usual hamburger Seasonings). Make sure your beef is chopped up small you don’t want big chunks.
  • While meat is cooking take a small bowl or mixing bowl, mix together mustard and ketchup.
  • Next, drain any extra oil off beef, you want your meat juicy but dry so that it doesn’t soak up bread. Add ketchup and mustard mixture to meat. Stir the sauce mixture in good.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Now this is the fun part, take your slider buns, slice if needed if not already presliced. Place on a greased baking pan or line baking pan with aluminum foil/parchment paper. Take your top buns and place to the side.
  • Start adding meat by spreading it across bottom buns. Then layer with with cheese slices. (Add pickle slices if you want)
  • Now you can add the top buns. Lightly grease top buns with melted butter. (Add Sesame seeds if you want before oven)
  • Place in oven for about 15 minutes or until cheese is melted. (Suggest placing a baking sheet at the bottom of baking dish to keep bottom buns from getting hard) Let cool for a few, then serve.
